A farewell to June … Hello #July …

A new month is on the way
What is that thing about new beginnings that fascinate us ?
Is it the new hope awaiting on the horizon ?
Are they the new dreams waiting to become true?
Or is it the kind of burying all the past drams , all the pointless sadness
The burying of the “Old” and the rising of the “New” ?
Everyday we have the chance to start something new
To have  a fresh start
A new week , a new month , a celebration of a new year ..
It’s fascinating isn’t it?
To have that opportunity waiting for you to seize it
And it’s absolutely shameful if you didn’t see that chance and take it !

Goodbye June

You’re a whole new person with a whole new life Quote …

” The length of your recovery is determined by the extent of your injuries. And it’s not always successful. No matter how hard we work at it. Some wounds might never fully heal. You might have to adjust to a whole new way of living. Things may have changed too radically to ever go back to what they were. You might not even recognize yourself. It’s like you haven’t recovered anything at all. You’re a whole new person with a whole new life! ”

Chicken soup for coffee lover’s soul !

I am now visiting Oman , i went today to Muscat and visited Borders bookstore , i ‘ve been in such a deep pleasure to be surrounded by books : ) And of course to meet a new bookworm friend Noor .

In my journey to find a new book , that waits to be read by my soul , i searched for a book called chicken soup for the soul , i read a quote from it a couple of days ago and i really loved to read the book! Here’s the quote :

“A lot of people feel like they’re victims in life, and they’ll often point to past events, perhaps growing up with an abusive parent or in a dysfunctional family. Most psychologists believe that about 85 percent of families are dysfunctional, so all of a sudden you’re not so unique. My parents were alcoholics. My dad abused me. My mother divorced him when I was six…I mean, that’s almost everybody’s story in some form or not. The real question is, what are you going to do now? What do you choose now? Because you can either keep focusing on that, or you can focus on what you want. And when people start focusing on what they want, what they don’t want falls away, and what they want expands, and the other part disappears. (Jack Canfield)”

I was searching for it , and then to my surprise there exists a lot of kinds of chicken soups for a lot of souls 😀 And one of them is for the coffee lover’s soul , when i found it , i was in such a happiness, here’s a book for me , will talk about my love for coffee and its aroma and taste and wonderful stories i will be reading about ! I was in such a pleasure that can’t be described !

I grabbed the book with a big big smile on my face .. And i knew that this book will be my all time favorite book , and of course will be reading it over and over again , i will take some time to read it and sink into the coffee words and of course write my review and share the quotes of the book and all the “coffeeish” love for this book !

Movin’ On …

I’ve dealt with my ghosts and faced all my demons
Finally content with a past I regret
I’ve found you find strength in your moments of weakness
For once I’m at peace with myself
I’ve been burdened with blame, trapped in the past for too long
I’m movin’ on

A kind of a sanctuary …

Flames of burning memories

Ashes of broken dreams

The smell of smoke filled the streets

What’s home?

Is it a place or a feeling?

If it’s a place , you’re ruined ..

it’s on fire , now you’re homeless!

It’s the feeling..

The feeling of a tender mom

of a loving child

of the sound of the girl yelling “Daddy’s home”

It’s the safest place in the world

A kind of a sanctuary …
