Combination between Lana Del Rey and Sylvia Plath ..

I love poetry and i sure love great music and lyrics . But when you find something in poetry similar to a song you’ve been singing a while ago , it’s a pleasure

I found a phrase in Sylvia Plath’s poetry similar to a great song for Lana Del Rey “Ride” which happens that i adore ..

Sylvia Plath : “Is there no way out of my mind”
Lana Del Rey :Been trying hard not to get into trouble, but I, I’ve
   Got a war in my mind

Mood of the day ..

It seems today is one of those days that i decide im going to feel peaceful! And because with every mood i have , there’s a song , i picked two today

1)Enya-Only Time
2)Khaled Mouzanar- Un air de liberté
3)Leann Rimes – What I cannot change (My all time favorite)

This is my day today “27-7-2013 “UN AIR DE LIBERTÉ!

Never Let Me Go ..

One of the greatest movies I’ve watched is “Never let me go” and after several years i heard a song that has a same name , and absolutely fell in love with the title all over again !

Great Movie .. Great Song ..
Worth all the minutes!

Happy Birthday Ernest Hemingway

“The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.”

“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.”

 “Every man’s life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another.”

“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”

“I love sleep. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I’m awake, you know?”

Contemplate the sound of silence ..

Come with me and contemplate this beautiful silence ..
The sound of the  silence of the night ..
The sound of the night turning into dawn..
The sound of the stars whispering ..
The sound of the cold breeze of a summer day ..
It’s marvelous !

My muse is right there .. Right there in my mind!

It’s been a while now since i sat down and wrote ..
I don’t know what it was , and i was scared as hell that i lost it ..
I tried and tried to get the words out of my mind and put them down on the papers , but couldn’t and that frustrated me..
But now i got it back ! Thank God! I may have this muse inside me and it’s just needed to be called upon!
I think my muse is right there in my mind ,
right next to my thoughts , to my feelings , in every song i listen to , in every thought i think , in every tear i cry
, in every soul i encounter .. It just took me a while to find that out..
Oh , my muse , don’t ever leave me again
Without writing i would totally be depressed and soul-less..

A quote worth sharing..

Rudyard Kipling

“If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise

If you can dream – and not make dreams your master;
If you can think – and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings – nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And – which is more – you’ll be a Man, my son!”
― Rudyard KiplingIf: A Father’s Advice to His Son
